Problems with DAOs
Since the rise of DAO, there has been a problem that has not been resolved, that is, the fairness of large currency holders and retail investors. In fact, this question is related to the main investors. Retail investors are often unable to compare with large investors in any project. Their interests are different, and their willingness to invest is also inconsistent.
Of course, their level of understanding of the project is not the same. This results in positions in certain decisions relative to major large and retail investors. However, the number of tokens in the hands of large investors is larger than that of retail investors.
Once several large investors reach a voting agreement, they have an advantage, which will lead to unfair voting results. Therefore, the dispersion of token holders is the most critical.
When the DAO ecology is sufficiently dispersed in terms of number of people and token holdings, the advantages of large holders will not be too obvious.
